We’re thrilled to share that our Surveillance Systems team has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the radio communication system upgrade of the Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) at Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).
The delegation, led by Ts. Norzie Hasnira Ramlan – Marine Manager from LPJ – and Capt. Akashah Md Dom – General Manager and Harbour Master of PTP, joined us at Cybernetica in Tallinn, Estonia, to witness this pivotal milestone.
During the visit, our team:
✅ Conducted and completed the FAT, with the protocol signed upon successful completion.
✅ Showcased Cybernetica's advanced radio communication system and its integration within port environments.
✅ Explored system benefits, including potential integration with existing and new technologies.
✅ Discussed future advancements, including #AI integration into #VTMIS, sparking ideas for enhancing operational efficiency in port environments.
These discussions, combined with hands-on demos, highlighted the exciting potential of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to elevate port operations and safety standards.
