EDM Global Tech has successfully conducted the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the Saab R60 VDES (VHF Data Exchange System) base station, an essential component for the CPOC (Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company) Phase 6 Project. EDM provides a 24 hour, web-based service, monitoring protection zones around subsea and surface assets. It monitors the behavior of vessels in and around these zones and constantly feeds vessel position back to a central control hub for detailed analysis. eNav.my raises an alarm if the analysis shows that a vessel is exhibiting potentially damaging behavior.
