The TB560 AIS Class B Transponder with Solar Power is specifically designed and engineered to provide optimal power to the unit and enables continuous autonomous operation without the need for connection to the vessel power supply – with the internal battery continuing to provide over 5 days of standby power reserve. The unit includes a full bracket system to make installation with the vessel mounting bracket simple, secure, and robust.
The unit comprises a high-efficiency solar panel that has been specially ruggedized for long-term continuous deployment in harsh commercial marine environments, and an aluminum mounting bracket that is designed to easily clamp to other suitable poles or railing.
